UK’s Faraday Institution to fund 16 new battery research projects
The Faraday Institution confirmed on Wednesday it will invest £2 million ($2.51m) to fund 16 new seed projects to expand its battery research scope, Kallanish reports.
The awards come from a highly competitive selection process, which was oversubscribed by four times. The small and fast-paced projects cover areas of anodes, electrolytes, cathodes, next generation technologies, applications and data management and redox flow batteries.
