UK start-up WEVC to produce commercial EVs from 2023
UK’s start-up Watt Electric Vehicle Company (WEVC) announced Wednesday it will produce up to 5,000 commercial EVs per year from 2023 in a new factory in the Midlands, Kallanish reports.
The company said the vehicles will be built using its electric modular platform known as PACES (passenger and commercial EV skateboard). The technology, supported by funding from the Innovate UK programme, is described as an innovative, cost efficient and highly flexible.
