UK start-up advances portable EV charger to prototype stage
UK start-up ZipCharge said Thursday it’s taking its planned portable EV charger to the validation prototype stage ahead of a planned pre-order launch in the fourth quarter, Kallanish reports.
The company is developing the so-called ZipCharge Go – a power bank on wheels that can be charged at home using a single phase supply in over one hour. It can deliver 20-40 miles range in around 30-60 minutes, depending on the capacity of the charger.
