UK should scrap VAT on some EVs, says AA president
The UK should zero the value-added tax on electric vehicles costing less than £50,000 ($69,779), the president of the British motoring association AA said on Thursday.
According to Edmund King, “electric vehicle technology has the ability to unlock much more than greener motoring; providing the change to create new jobs and opportunities. More should be done to spark the EV revolution.”
