UK should electrify public fleet, open second-hand BEV market: report
The UK should make all public fleets consist of battery electric vehicles (BEV) and petrol stations in the country should have at least three rapid charge points by 2023, according to think tank Bright Blue.
Bright Blue recommends in a new report that the government needs to tackle key barriers. These include ensuring there’s support for “less well-off householders” to purchase a BEV and opening up a second-hand market, Kallanish learns.
