UK government settles competition deal with Gridserve
The UK’s competition watchdog claims to have struck the right balance on its investigation of Gridserve, owner of The Electric Highway – a major chargepoint operator in Great Britain.
The CMA said Tuesday it has secured legally-binding commitments from Gridserve that will unlock competition and increase choice of EV chargepoints on motorways. The deal is also expected to incentivise investment in the market now.
