UK confirms 2040 ban on petrol, diesel HGVs

The UK government confirmed on Wednesday that all new heavy good vehicles (HGVs) on its roads will be zero-emission by 2040, Kallanish reports. The pledge follows the phase out for petrol and diesel cars and vans in 2030.
