Turnagain mine to produce 10.7 billion pounds of nickel
Giga Metals Corp expects its planned Turnagain nickel-cobalt mine in northern British Columbia to produce 10.7 billion pounds of nickel and 640 million pounds of cobalt overs its 37 years of operation, Kallanish reports.
The proposed mine is projected to produce 33,215 metric tonnes of nickel and 1,962t of cobalt annually, the company said in releasing a new preliminary economic assessment for the project.
