TotalEnergies, Air Liquide to build H2 plant in Paris bio-refinery
TotalEnergies and Air Liquide have signed a contract to produce green and low-carbon hydrogen at the TotalEnergies Grandpuits biorefinery in the Paris region. Air Liquide will build a low-carbon H2 production plant for an investment of approximately €130 million ($133m). TotalEnergies has signed an offtake agreement to buy the hydrogen produced so that Grandpuits may produce low-carbon aviation fuel. Construction will begin in 2022 for commissioning in 2025.
