TECA 2030, partners start H2-powered ship demo project
Norwegian cleantech company TECO 2030 announced Monday the start of a second EU-funded fuel cell system demonstration aimed at maritime applications, Kallanish reports.
The so-called Zero Emission Adriatic Ship – ZEAS will get a total grant of €13.5 million ($14.7m) from the EU research funding scheme EU Horizon. TECO 2030 will receive €2.3m once it delivers the 1.2-megawatt fuel cell system for full vessel propulsion.
