Supply-chain problem to delay Electra Battery Materials' cobalt refinery to 2023
Electra Battery Materials says its refurbished and expanded cobalt refinery in Ontario is facing a delay due to supply chain issues and rising prices, Kallanish reports.
The Ontario-based company says it expects to complete commissioning the refinery in the spring of 2023. Earlier, it had said it had planned to complete that work in December 2022.
