StoreDot demonstrates 100 miles in 5 minutes cell performance
Israeli battery technology start-up StoreDot says its extreme fast charging (XFC) cells faced a live demonstration at an industry event last week and performed at “optimum level.”
The test featured a 300x100 millimetres pouch cell produced by StoreDot’s manufacturing partner EVE Energy at a plant in China. The battery was charged from 0% to 80% under a 10-minute time limit, during which the cell charged to 20 amp hours (Ah), Kallanish learns.
