Steel producers partner for French hydrogen plant
Liberty Steel Group, part of Sanjeev Gupta’s GFG Alliance, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Paul Wurth and SHS – Stahl-Holding-Saar (SHS) to study the construction of a hydrogen-based steel making plant at Dunkerque in France, Kallanish learns from a Liberty spokesperson. This is in line with the company’s ambition to become carbon neutral by 2030.
