St Kitts building $70m solar-plus-storage project
St Kitts and Nevis is building a solar generation and storage system that will be the largest in the Caribbean, Kallanish reports.
The $70 million microgrid project will produce 30-35% of the baseload energy needs for the next 20 to 25 years for the two-island nation, reducing reliance on diesel for energy production and stabilising prices.
