Spanish EV demand improves in 2020
Spain saw its domestic sales of electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrids rise in 2020, Kallanish learns from the country’s car manufacturers association, Anfac.
Total EV sales increased by almost 78.4% year-on-year in 2020 to 17,925 units. These had a 2.1% share of total vehicles purchased during the last year in Spain. Sales of EVs in December alone grew 341.2% reaching 4,324 units.
