Spain inaugurates green hydrogen electrolyser to power Mallorca
Spanish firms Enagás and Acciona Energía have officially opened an industrial-scale renewable hydrogen project in Mallorca, one of the Balearic Islands, Kallanish reports.
The so-called Power to Green Hydrogen Mallorca project in Lloseta will produce 300 tonnes/year of hydrogen to supply the Green Hysland project. The latter is an EU-funded demonstration project to build a green hydrogen ecosystem to decarbonise the island of Mallorca.
