Southern Power to add battery storage to California solar projects
Southern Power is adding battery storage at two solar facilities in Southern California after signing two 20-year power purchase agreements with Southern California Edison, Kallanish reports.
The company will add 88 megawatts/352 megawatt-hours of energy storage at the Garland Solar Facility in Kern County and 72 MW/288 MWh will be developed at the Tranquillity Solar Facility in Fresno County.
