South Korea eyes 10% global EV charger share by 2030
South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) recently set a goal of achieving a 10% share of the global EV charger market by 2030, Kallanish learns.
The country aims to strengthen charger industrialisation capabilities, expand entry into overseas markets, and revitalise the charger ecosystem. Its global market share stood at 1.2% in 2022.
