Solarwatt opens new facility, invests $117m in solar+storage
German solar system producer Solarwatt plans to invest a further $117.22 million in solar+storage systems in the next several years, Kallanish reports.
The news comes on the heels of Solarwatt’s official opening of Europe’s largest solar cell production facility in Dresden. Three new production facilities - representing about $41m of the planned investment - are in the project pipeline, the company says.
