Solaris to supply 130 hydrogen-powered buses in Italy
Polish bus maker Solaris will supply 130 hydrogen-powered buses to TPER, a municipal public transport operator in Bologna and Ferrara, Italy, Kallanish learns.
The order, which the company claims to be the biggest in Europe, will include delivery of 127 units of 12-metre Urbino 12 hydrogen buses for TPER Bologna and 3 units for TPER Ferrara. Solaris will also have the option to extend the order by a further 140 vehicles.
