SK Innovation, SK E&S to merge
South Korean conglomerate SK Group announced plans to merge its SK Innovation and SK E&S branches as part of the group’s restructuring, Kallanish reports.
It said in a statement that the companies’ respective boards of directors approved the merger proposal on 17 July. They will hold a shareholders’ meeting on 27 August, and upon approval, the merged company will be officially launched on 1 November.
