Sirius Aviation unveils 'world’s first' H2-powered VTOL aircraft
Swiss aviation start-up Sirius Aviation AG has unveiled Sirius Jet, which the company claims is the world’s first hydrogen-powered vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft, Kallanish notes.
Made in collaboration with Designworks, a US-based BMW creative consultancy company and Switzerland-based Stauber Group, the Sirius Jet is slated to take flight in 2025. Sirius has also partnered with Alfleth Engineering AG and the ALD Group to develop the aircraft.
