NICKEL, COBALT, MANGANESE: Sinochem starts tests at new cathode plant
China’s chemical company Sinochem International has started product testing and development at its new nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) lithium-ion battery cathode material facility.
Construction at the plant located in Zhongwei city, in China’s northwestern province of Ningxia, has been completed. The facility has capacity to produce 10,000 tonnes per year of NCM cathode materials, Kallanish notes.
