NICKEL, COBALT: Sherritt International names Leon Binedell new president, ceo
Canada-based Sherritt International, a leading mining and energy company, is getting a new president and ceo: Leon Binedell.
Binedell, a 25-year mining industry veteran with a history of building shareholder value, will take over on 1 June, Kallanish reports. He replaces outgoing David Pathe who last November said he would step down in 2021 after 10 years as ceo. He will assist for a time during the transition.
