Shandong Jinqihang announces 20 GWh solid-state battery project
Chinese automotive manufacturer Shandong Jinqihang New Energy Technology has launched a 20-gigawatt-hour solid-state battery production base project in Leling City, Shandong Province, Kallanish learns.
The CNY 11.6 billion ($1.6 billion) project will be built in two phases. The major products to be produced at the plant include key materials for solid electrolytes, battery cells, solid-state batteries and inverters.
