Scrapped ternary battery recycling volume declines in July
China’s lithium battery black mass refining decreased 17.2% month-on-month in July to 16,000 tonnes, according to Chinese pricing platform icc.com.
The recycling volume of ternary battery waste declined 18% on-month, while that of iron lithium waste increased by around 1% on-month. The sharp decline in lithium carbonate prices is the direct cause of the decline in recycling volume.
