Scania launches new BEV solution for regional long-haul
Swedish truck manufacturer Scania launched on Friday battery electric truck technologies aimed at regional long-haul transportation, Kallanish reports.
The “next level” BEV trucks are available with R or S sleeper cabs. They can be ordered from now as 4x2 tractors or a 6x2*4 rigids. Ranges depend on weight, configuration and topography, but a 4x2 tractor with six batteries can deliver up to 350 kilometres of range, Scania says.
