Sapio to buy H2 from future Enel Carlentini plant
Enel Green Power has concluded an offtake agreement with Italian industrial gas specialist Sapio. The company will purchase the green hydrogen production from Enel’s planned H2 production facility in Sicily. The future plant, fed by renewable electricity from the Carlentini wind farm in eastern Sicily, will be operative in 2023 and is part of the NextHy hydrogen project Enel is developing on the island.
