Samsung targets $8.8 billion operating profit for semiconductor unit
South Korean giant Samsung Electronics’ Device Solutions (DS) department, responsible for semiconductors, is targeting an operating profit of KRW 11.5 trillion ($8.8 billion) in 2024.
The target, reported by multiple South Korean mainstream media channels, corresponds to roughly one-third of Samsung Electronics’ total operating profit target this year of KRW 33.8 trillion. The company has not replied to Kallanish.
