Saipem, Alboran to build 5 hydrogen plants in the Mediterranean
Italy’s Saipem and Alboran Hydrogen said last week they will build five green hydrogen plants -- three in Italy, one in Morocco and one in Albania. The collaboration is at a very early stage as the companies have just signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU).
The level of investment and timing is still under study, two representatives from Alboran and Saipem tell Kallanish.
Under the deal, Saipem will oversee the engineering and construction of the plants…
