RWE produces first hydrogen from SOEC research at Lingen plant
German energy developer RWE has produced green hydrogen for the first time at its gas-fired power plant in Emsland, Germany, Kallanish finds.
The GET H2 TransHyDE project uses a 250-kilowatt (kW) high-temperature solid oxide electrolyser (SOEC) supplied by Dresden-based electrolyser manufacturer Sunfire.
