NICKEL, COPPER: Russia’s nickel, copper exports down in Jan-Oct
Russian copper and nickel exports decreased in January-October, according to the country’s latest federal customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Ten-month exports of unprocessed copper amounted to 545,000 tonnes, down by 5% year-on-year. In monetary terms, the indicators worsened by 9.7% to $3.6 million.
Exports of unprocessed nickel decreased in January-October of 2020 by 19.4% y-o-y to 94,700 t. In monetary terms, shipments were 23.8% lower at $1.2m.
