Russia’s Avtotor to produce EVs from 2023
Russian carmaker Avtotor intends to start the production of electric vehicles (EVs) at a plant in Kaliningrad in 2023, according to chairman of the board of directors Valery Gorbunov.
The EVs will be targeted at low-income Russians, students and sedentary groups of the population. It is expected that KIA and Hyundai will participate in this project, Kallanish notes.
