Russia to gradually abandon ICE cars from 2030
Russia wants to gradually abandon fossil fuel cars from 2030 and establish requirements for automakers for sales of vehicles running on hydrogen, electricity and gas, according to Russian industry and trade minister Denis Manturov.
"Thus, our country is fully involved in the process of the green reversal and we will initiate monetary incentives to abandon the use of energy-intensive technologies," he said at a Russian-German raw materials conference.
