COPPER: Russia starts copper foil production for lithium-ion batteries
Russian’s Kyshtym electrolytic copper plant (KMEZ), part of the Russian Copper Company, has started the production of copper foil in the Chelyabinsk region, the enterprise says.
This product will completely replace the import of high-tech material for the production of electronics and lithium-ion batteries, KMEZ observes.
