Russia prepares to launch its first EV production
Russia is preparing for the tests of a prototype of its first serial electric vehicle (EV), according to Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU), in whose competence centre the electric car is designed.
“The first electric car is ready for mass production and can be available to an ordinary buyer as early as 2021,” the university says. “All tests of the prototype will be completed in early December of this year.” …
