Russia prepares for hydrogen aircraft, highway infrastructure
The looming hydrogen economy will have widespread implications for traditional modes of travel, from airplanes to automobiles, says Russian transport minister Vitaly Savelyev on state television.
Flights on alternative fuels are already being carried out, he says.
“There is a forecast that by 2035, aircraft will actually be able to fly on hydrogen fuel," Savelyev says.
