Russia eyes hydrogen public transport by 2023
The Russian government plans to develop and produce public transport running on hydrogen fuel in two years, says the deputy industry minister Alexander Morozov on state television.
The goals is to create by 2023 not only hydrogen public transport, but also hydrogen tractors and combines. By 2024, Russian machine builders even promise to develop a hydrogen locomotive, Kallanish notes.
