RARE EARTH: MP Materials-Fortress deal set to close
Rare earth mining company MP Materials says its shareholders have given preliminary approval to its merger with Fortress Value Acquisition Corp., Kallanish reports.
The vote is not yet final, the company says in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The company, which produces 15% of the rare earth minerals mined globally, says it expects to close on the deal later this week. A special meeting of shareholders was staged on 13 November.
