RARE EARTH: Appia plans to change name, drill Alces Lake
Canada-based Appia Energy may be getting a new name: Appia Rare Earths & Uranium, Kallanish reports.
The company says it will seek shareholder approval to change its name to better reflect the company’s focus on rare earths at Alces Lake in Saskatchewan and uranium in the Athabasca Basin.
The change must be approved by two thirds of shareholders in a May 18 vote. Its ticker symbols will not be impacted by the proposed change.
