RARE EARTH: Appia Energy to begin Alces Lake summer drilling
Ontario-based Appia Energy is embarking on what it calls an aggressive exploration programme at a rare earth project and two uranium projects in northern Saskatchewan, Kallanish reports.
The company is planning an aerial survey and to diamond drill more than 6,000 metres at its Alces Lake RE project with two rigs focused on discovering new RE zones and delineating the extent of known high-grade RE mineralisation. Crews have been dispatched to the site.
