Québec launches electrification plan, timeline for ending gasoline vehicle sales
The Canadian province of Québec has released its 2030 Green Economy goals, beginning with a CAD 6.7 billion ($5.12 billion) electrification plan through 2026, Kallanish reports.
A cornerstone of Québec’s plan is the electrification of the transportation sector. The government will infuse CAD 3.6 billion into the sector directly, coupled with CAD 15.8 billion in public transportation.
