Qingna Technology starts construction on 10 GWh sodium-ion battery plant
Chinese sodium-ion battery firm Qingna New Energy has broken ground at its 10-gigawatt-hour sodium-ion battery manufacturing project in Guangde, Anhui Province, Kallanish learns.
The CNY 5 billion ($705 million) project will be built in a 260-acre (1.5m square metres) area. Phase 1 is planned to have a production capacity of 5 GWh, featuring three production lines.
