Princeton NuEnergy nets $16m for battery recycling
Princeton NuEnergy (PNE), a clean technology firm founded out of Princeton University, has secured $16 million through a Series A funding round.
The funds will be used to advance PNE’s lithium-ion battery recycling technology, with a portion earmarked for new recycling facility construction and equipment procurement. Wistron Corporation led the effort, which saw participation from Honda Motor Co., Shell Ventures and several others.
