Poland picks site for EV plant, production planned for 2024
Polish state-owned company ElectroMobility Poland (EMP) will build the country’s first plant for electric vehicles (EVs) in the southern industrial region of Silesia, the enterprise says on Tuesday.
The site selection and government’s financial support will make it possible to start the project construction in autumn 2021. Car production will begin in 2024, instead of the previous schedule of 2023, Kallanish notes.
