Pilbara Minerals targets Altura’s lithium project
Australian lithium miner Pilbara Minerals has signed a conditional agreement to acquire Altura Mining’s lithium project for around AUD 175 million ($126m), Kallanish reports.
The agreement follows the appointment of receivers and administrators to market and recapitalise Altura Mining Limited in late October. The potential acquisition, through Altura’s subsidiary ALO, is subject to a number of conditions including the approval of creditors.
