Pilbara Minerals opens the world’s largest lithium ore sorter
Australian miner Pilbara Minerals said Friday it has officially opened the crushing and ore sorting facility at its Pilgangoora operation in Western Australia.
With an ore sorting capacity of over 1,000 tonnes/hour, the new crushing and ore sorting facility is both the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere and the largest in the world for processing lithium, the company claims.
