Philippines' nickel ore production up in Q1
The Philippines’ nickel ore production rose 5.4% year-on-year to 4 million dry metric tonnes (dmt) in the first quarter, Kallanish reports.
The estimated nickel value also climbed to PHP 11.53 billion ($205.81 million) from PHP 8.09 billion, according to the country’s Mines and Geosciences Bureau.
