PG&E seeks approval to add 1,548 MWh of battery storage
Pacific Gas & Electric is seeking approval from California state regulators to add six battery storage projects that together total 387 megawatts/1,548 megawatt-hours, Kallanish reports.
The additional lithium-ion battery storage would be available by the end of 2023 and the six projects would each offer four hours of discharge duration.
