COPPER: Peruvian copper production reaches 2020-high in October
Peru saw its copper output recovery in October. Production increased both month-on-month and year-on-year reaching a 2020-high, Kallanish notes. Ten-month performance, nevertheless, remained weak.
According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, copper output reached 207,034 tonnes in October. This volume was 20.5% higher over September and 1.4% higher year-on-year.
